Introduction:

I had to read a English book for a school assignment and my sister also had to do this last year and she read this book. I was a little bit too late with going to the library so my sister came to me and sad that I needed to read this book, because she loved it. Do you want to know what this book is about? And what I thought of this book? Go read ‘ about the book’ and ‘ opinion ‘.

About the book:

Sara Carter’s dream is to be famous, she always knew that she is going to be famous but it never happened. Until she came in an ‘accident’: she puts an iron to her face.... So she has to go to the hospital, where she meets Jonathon Heat. Sara is a big fan of him.

Sara tells him that her dream is to be famous and Jonathon suggests to help her to get famous and he is going to pay for her cosmetic surgery. Sara’s dream comes true.

Together they decide that she lets 3 things do about herself:

  • She gets her scars removed
  • Her nose is going to be improved
  • Her boobs get bigger

Sara is so happy that she meets Jonathon, he changes her whole life, because of him her dreams come true. But when she finds out a big secret about Jonathon her whole life changed.

What could that be? And what is she going to do about it? Is this going to ruin her whole life?

More about the characters:

Sara is an insecure girl. She is not happy with her body and she wants to change it. She is a pretty girl but she does not feel that way when she looks in the mirror. She suffers from anorexia and self-injury

Sara’s big dream is to be famous and she will do anything to make that happen. She doesn’t want to be famous because she is talented, she wants to become a living work of art.

Jonathan Heat seems to be a nice and generous person but at the end you find out what kind of person he really is.

Opinion:

Before I read it I didn’t like this book because it was big and I don’t like to read. But when I started to read I couldn’t stop because I liked it. At the beginning I thought it was a bit strange that she wanted to change a lot about herself.

I think it was a nice but weird and unusual story

Why do you have to buy this book?

Do you like big books? With a weird, funny but also dark story in it? Then you definitely have to read this book!
